In addition to the OmniKassa online payment API, the Rabo Developer Portal also features the Rabo OmniKassa Merchant API Services, developed in response to requests from the market. OmniKassa downloads transactions, but it has a maximum of 30,000 per query. For many entrepreneurs, that simply isn’t enough. The Merchant API Services makes it possible to retrieve more transactions and to filter them by categories such as day, brand, payment channels or unsuccessful transactions. Where the Rabo OmniKassa dashboard always displays all of the transactions, with the API you can customize the dashboard display, for example if a client does not wish for employees of shop A to see the revenue of shop B.
Entrepreneurs can use the Rabo OmniKassa dashboard to choose the desired payment solution for all of their sales points. From debit card payment in the shop to paying via iDEAL in the webshop. The Rabo OmniKassa Merchant API Services make it possible for you to further personalize OmniKassa to suit your client’s preferences.
Improvements to the API
The Merchant API Services will soon gain extra functionalities as well, such as the option of having the system automatically process refunds. This is an important feature that many retailers require. It will also soon be possible to automate payment requests (Rabo Betaalverzoek Plus) within the API. A Sandbox for the API will be added in the very near future. Finally, we are working on a fully automated onboarding for the Merchant API Services via the OmniKassa dashboard, to help developers get started right away.
