Aizy wants to make top-tier marketing accessible to every entrepreneur

Online marketing is becoming increasingly complex. Businesses invest in advertising, SEO and new digital channels, but often struggle to understand what is driving results. At the same time, consumer search behaviour is shifting rapidly towards AI-powered search environments such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini. For many small and medium-sized businesses, staying visible while maintaining control over marketing investments is becoming more challenging.

Against this backdrop, Aizy is building a platform designed to help businesses manage their online marketing more effectively. Its Aizy AI Performance Suite combines paid and organic marketing activities in a single environment and supports businesses through a combination of AI technology and human expertise. According to founder and CEO Stefan Nuijten, the company’s ambition extends beyond improving campaign performance: making top-tier marketing more accessible to every business and marketer.

Founded just over a year and a half ago, Aizy has experienced significant growth since launching its platform, according to the company. It has grown to more than 500 customers, while its team is approaching fifty employees. The company primarily supports e-commerce businesses and retailers looking to navigate an increasingly complex digital landscape.

Bringing fragmented marketing into one view

The idea behind Aizy emerged from a challenge Nuijten repeatedly encountered among business owners. Companies were investing substantial budgets in online marketing while relying on multiple platforms, tools and specialists, each presenting different interpretations of performance.

According to Aizy, this challenge is becoming more pronounced as advertising platforms continue to automate and require increasing amounts of customer data. The rise of AI-powered search environments adds another layer of complexity. Businesses that fail to adapt to these developments risk becoming less visible to potential customers.

To address this, Aizy developed a platform that combines advertising, SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) in a single solution. Through direct integrations with platforms including Google, Meta, TikTok and OpenAI, the platform gathers marketing data while its AI engine performs optimisations across multiple channels. The software also tracks customers’ online visibility on a daily basis, both in traditional search engines and AI-driven search environments.

AI as a tool, not the objective

According to Startup & Scale-up Banker Robin Hempel, what stands out about Aizy is the way it applies technology. Rather than focusing on AI for its own sake, the company uses it to address challenges businesses face in managing online marketing. The aim is to make marketing more accessible, transparent and effective, while retaining a strong human component.

Aizy positions itself between a traditional marketing agency and a software platform. Much of the optimisation work is handled by the technology, while a dedicated performance marketer helps translate results into business objectives. Through this approach, the company seeks to combine the advantages of software automation with specialist guidance.

According to Aizy, this model offers benefits such as faster returns, lower customer acquisition costs, fewer manual errors and a single environment in which multiple marketing channels can be managed together.

Robin Hempel sees this as part of a broader development that is relevant to many entrepreneurs.

Innovation matters, but ultimately it comes down to execution. At Aizy, I saw a team that moves quickly, recognises opportunities and is able to turn those opportunities into results. That gave me a great deal of confidence in the company’s next growth phase.

Growing in a rapidly changing market

The market in which Aizy operates is evolving quickly. While larger organisations often have access to specialised data teams and sizeable marketing budgets, many SMBs do not. According to Aizy, this can contribute to an uneven competitive landscape. By making advanced marketing technology more accessible, the company aims to help narrow that gap.

In 2026, Aizy also acquired a competitor as part of its growth strategy. The company sees further investment in technology and commercial expansion as key priorities for the coming years.

The impact on customers is also becoming visible. According to Aizy, clients achieve, on average, a 32% increase in return on advertising spend within three to six months. In addition, the company supports customers with SEO and GEO activities aimed at improving online visibility.

A growth partner for the next phase

To support its continued expansion, Aizy sought additional financing alongside capital from its founders and investors. This brought the company into contact with Rabobank, where, according to Nuijten, there was an immediate understanding of both the company’s mission and business model.

Banks are often seen as slow and complex. With Rabobank, the experience was exactly the opposite. They immediately understood where we wanted to go, and within a month we were able to move forward.

Rabobank supported Aizy with a financing facility that provides room for further investment in technology and sales. According to the company, the combination of bank financing and shareholder funding allows it to pursue growth while limiting dilution.

The value of Rabobank’s Startup & Scale-up Team extended beyond financing. According to Robin Hempel, the team also helped explore a financing structure suited to the company’s next stage of development. In doing so, Rabobank considered not only current performance but also the company’s future potential.

Rabobank believes Aizy aligns well with the theme of digital transformation, as the company helps entrepreneurs adopt AI and digital technologies in a practical way within their organisations and strengthen their position in an increasingly digital economy.

Towards the Aizy Agent

The coming years will focus on further scaling the business. Key challenges include attracting additional talent in both sales and technology, while integrating activities following the acquisition into a single platform and brand.

Several milestones have already been defined. By the end of 2026, the company aims to operate fully through a single platform: the Aizy AI Performance Suite. In 2027, it plans to introduce the Aizy Agent, an AI assistant designed to support performance marketing activities through channels such as WhatsApp and ChatGPT. At the same time, the company is working towards reaching €10 million in annual recurring revenue.

For Nuijten, the core ambition remains unchanged: providing entrepreneurs with access to marketing expertise and technology that has traditionally been more accessible to larger organisations. In a market where AI continues to play a growing role, Aizy wants to contribute to helping SMBs remain visible and competitive.
