Impact for customers and members
Sustainability Discount
In 2024, Rabobank introduced an automatic sustainability discount for mortgage customers whose homes have a definitive energy label of A or higher.
Cooperative Insulation Budget
Through this initiative, we offer mortgage customers energy advice to help improve the energy label of their home. Subject to the conditions and available budget, customers may receive compensation of up to 1,000 euros.
Sustainability Contribution SME
Business customers can receive a contribution of 12.5% toward their energy-efficiency investment, up to a maximum of €10,000, if they meet certain conditions.

Giving to charities enriches your life
Many people voluntarily give money, goods or time to make society better. This is called philanthropy. In the Netherlands, people collectively donate around 6 billion euros per year to charities.
Working together on financial health
More and more Dutch households are in debt. This causes significant stress, health problems and tension at home. To tackle this issue, businesses and government bodies have joined forces in the Stichting Financieel Gezond Nederland (Foundation for a Financially Healthy Netherlands). Rabobank is an active participant in this coalition.
Impact for neighborhoods
Rabo ClubSupport
Rabo ClubSupport offers tailored assistance to clubs and associations, such as one-on-one coaching, workshops, or masterclasses. Members then decide which clubs and associations receive financial support.
Rabo BuurtSupport
Through Rabo BuurtSupport, customers can submit a project or initiative to improve their neighborhood. Members decide by casting their vote which initiatives receive extra financial support.
Youth Workshop KomVorm!
KomVorm! in Oss helps young people who currently have no place in school. Here, teens receive personal guidance and can develop their talents in a calm environment. Rabobank supports KomVorm! with a financial contribution.
BPD Housing Fund
Through the BPD Housing Fund, Rabobank and BPD are committed to providing energy-efficient homes for middle-income households.

By providing early-stage financing, access to knowledge, and networks, Rabo Foundation enables organizations to improve the lives of disadvantaged groups – from smallholder farmers around the world to people distanced from the labor market in the Netherlands. This support helps both the organizations and the people they serve become more self-reliant.
Rabo Impact Foundation
Rabo Impact Foundation accelerates initiatives that positively contribute to sustainable societal themes such as energy, food systems, circularity, water, healthcare, and affordable housing. With support in the form of financing, expertise, or networks, the Foundation helps ideas grow into solutions that can transform systems
Bega Valley
As a partner of Bega Circular Valley, Rabobank supports an initiative in which businesses, public organisations and community partners collaborate on circularity, innovation and regional development in Australia’s Bega Valley.
Biobased Construction & Water
Rabobank and subsidiary BPD have joined forces to build more new homes using natural materials and water-saving systems. The goal: reduce CO₂ emissions and water consumption.

How 3X3 Unites gives young people perspective on and off the Court
3x3 basketball, now the world’s largest urban team sport, is more than just a street game. For the 3X3 Unites Foundation, it is the ideal way to connect young people while helping them develop valuable life skills alongside their basketball abilities. This mission aligns perfectly with Rabobank’s ambition as a cooperative bank committed to supporting the health and development of young people in the Netherlands.
