Yes. When you open a joint account, you have a payment account for 2 account holders. You have the same rights and obligations. For example, you can both withdraw money from the account. You are also both responsible for any account deficits.

You can open a joint account with anyone you choose. For example, with your partner, but also with a friend or housemate. It’s useful if you share expenses, such as rent or groceries.

Open a Rabo Standard or Rabo Comfort

1. Start the application and indicate whether you also want to apply for a credit card and whether someone else is applying for the account with you.
2. Enter the required information.
3. We will contact you within 3 working days to arrange the payment account.
4. Once your application has been approved, your debit card, PIN code and Rabo Scanner will be delivered to your home within 3 working days.
5. You can get started right away!

You can convert your current payment account into a joint account by adding an account holder to your payment account. You can also convert a joint account into a personal payment account by removing an account holder. We’ll be happy to tell you how to do this.

You can easily change or convert your current payment package. Needless to say, you can also apply for a credit card, an additional debit card or an additional account.
