Add or remove an account holder
Share your bank account with your partner. Or put your account in your name only.
Bank account in two names
Do you already have a payment account and do want to add your partner to the account because, for example, you are going to live together? You can convert your payment account into an ’and/or’ account, which is a joint account.
Your partner will also receive a debit card and have access to Rabo Online Banking. This means there is no need to adjust your subscriptions and direct debits, and you can both use the same account to pay for groceries and pay bills.
If you want to open a brand new account together, you can arrange this directly online.
Grant someone power of attorney
If you would like to share your payment account with someone who helps you arrange your banking matters, you can do this by granting power of attorney. The account will still be only in your name only, and the other person will not become an additional account holder. You can arrange a power of attorney online, and you can also revoke it online at any time.
Payment account in one name
If you want to convert a joint account into a payment account that is only in your name, please contact us.
