If you’d like to make a World Payment to a country in the European Economic Area (EEA), you’re only able to choose the Shared (SHA) option for the sharing of costs. This is in line with European regulations. As Great Britain and Northern Ireland is not an EEA country, other cost options are also permitted. The SHA, OUR and BEN options are permitted for business payments. For retail payments, the only permitted options are SHA and OUR.
