Push notifications are not working
When you are not receiving notifications or are getting them late, find out how to resolve this issue here. That way, you will receive timely notifications whenever important issues arise with your account, when you are overdrawn or when your balance exceeds a certain amount, for example.
Resolve problems with push notifications
Make sure you have set up notifications correctly. Click on the link below to find out how. Also, check which debit card you used to set up the notifications. To set up push notifications for your private account, use the debit card of that account (not the debit card of your business account).
During busy periods, you may receive push notifications a little later than you are used to. For example, this can happen at the end of the month if we have to process a lot of monthly closings and salary payments. On those busy days, we sometimes send notifications later because we prioritize payment processing.
- Log in
Log in to the Rabo App - Go to Settings > Notifications > Notifications
- Click on ‘Push notifications on this device’
Select the relevant product - Move the slider
To green for ‘Notifications on’ and to gray for ‘Notifications off’
Tip: Push notifications are not displayed on iPhones if the Rabo App is active at that time.
- Log in
Log in to Rabo Online Banking or the Rabo App - Go to Settings > Notifications > Notifications
- Click on ‘Push notifications on this device’
Select the relevant product - Remove the ‘Email’ check mark and move the slider
- Have you turned off all notifications and saved them? Now reset the notifications
Have you recently changed your email address? Sometimes, the notifications can still be sent to the old email address. You can solve this by entering your old email address in the Rabo App and then changing this to your new email address. This ‘reset' ensures notifications will be sent to the new email address.
- Open the Rabo App
- Go to Settings > Personal data > Contact details
- Change your email address twice
- Go back to Settings > Notifications > Notifications
- Go to ‘Push notifications on this device’ and select the product for which you want to reset notifications.
- Turn notifications off and press save
- Select your product again, turn on notifications, and save the change.
