Explanation of predictions
Your payments summary includes predictions for the coming month. This is done on the basis of amounts that have a fixed pattern or are repeated regularly. In Rabo Online Banking, you can find the predictions under “Look ahead”. Always check if the predictions are correct, as they may differ.
Under “Projected balance”, you will see your expected balance on a specific day, based on scheduled payments, direct debits, predictions, and the outstanding balance on your credit card. This balance will change as you scroll through your timeline, giving you more insight into your spending.
Predictions are not saved, and you cannot derive any rights from them. Direct debits depend on your payment obligations. An example of a payment obligation would be a subscription to a magazine. Money is automatically debited from your account every month.
You can hide or delete false predictions. Go to “Look ahead” and find “Hidden predictions” in Rabo Online Banking or under the 3 dots in the Rabo App. Some predictions can only be deleted, such as payments you have created yourself. Deleted predictions are no longer visible.

How to turn off your predictions
Tip! If you turn off your predictions, this will only affect the display of planned and anticipated orders and balance. It will not affect the execution of orders or direct debits from your account.

Choose “About this feature”
Click on the green slider at the top to turn off predictions. The slider will turn gray
