Your debit card has three limits
You can change a limit temporarily or permanently. If you opt for a temporary change, it takes effect immediately. If you make a permanent change, it takes effect from the next working day.
Different limits apply to payments and withdrawals.

The limit applying to payments made at a card reader is normally €5,000 per week. The standard limit is €10,000 for a Rabo Ample Package, and €500 for a Rabo Youth Account.
If you have a new debit card from Mastercard or Visa, the limit applying to payments made at a card reader is also the limit that applies to online payments.
Good to know: for Geldmaat ATMs, a week starts at midnight on Thursday morning and ends at midnight the following Wednesday evening. Some banks in the Netherlands and other countries apply lower withdrawal limits.

The standard limit applying to ATM withdrawals is €1,250 per week. The standard limit is €5,000 for a Rabo Ample Package, and €250 for a Rabo Youth Account. If you want to withdraw more money, you can adjust your daily limit. The maximum daily limit for withdrawals is €5,000.
If you need more than €5,000 in cash, increase your daily limit several days in a row and spread your withdrawals. Example: If you need €8,000, set your increased limit to €5,000 on day 1 and withdraw this amount. On day 2, set your increased limit to €3,000 and withdraw this amount.
You can withdraw the amount of your increased limit only once during the period you specify. Once you’ve set an increased limit, you can’t change it while it’s in effect.

You can increase your contactless payment limit up to a maximum of €150 per day. You can pay up to €50 each time without having to use your PIN code.
