Transfer money without a scanner
The amount of money you can transfer without a Rabo Scanner depends on how you activated the Rabo App.

You can transfer payments without a scanner.
The only limit that exists is the daily limit that applies to you. You can view and change your limit in the Rabo App or Rabo Online Banking. You will find the limit in Settings > Payment accounts > Daily transfer limit.
You can transfer payments without a scanner up to the limit that applies to known and unknown accounts, your own accounts and trusted parties. Above this limit, you will need your debit card, PIN code and scanner.
This is an account to which you have not transferred any money without using the scanner in the past 15 months. By default, this limit is €250 per day and you can increase it to a maximum of €1.000.
This is an account to which you have transferred money using the scanner in the past 15 months. This limit is €2.000 per day and cannot be increased.
There is no limit for transfers to your own (savings) accounts and a scanner is not required.
You do not need a scanner for transfers to account numbers for which the risk of fraud is very low, such as transfers to the Tax and Customs Administration or your Rabobank mortgage repayments.

Can’t remember how you activated the app?
In the app, go to Settings > Access, security and privacy > Device overview and select the device. Under Registered via, you can see how you activated this device.
Set up banking without a scanner
Don’t want to use a scanner? In the app, go to Settings > Access, security and privacy and select ‘Banking without a Rabo Scanner’. You can then activate the app using your ID.
