Call your bank to unblock a payment account?

Picture this:

An employee of a bank, the police, or another (financial) organization calls you. This person says that your money in your bank account is at risk and you need to protect your money.

Fraudsters know that the bank will block your payment account in the event of a suspicious transfer. As a ‘fake’ employee, they convince you to call the bank to say that the transfer is reliable and that you want the bank to stop blocking your account. This allows the fraudster to continue scamming you, and you have lost your money.

Do not fall for this!

If someone calls to say that your money is not secure and that you need to take action, hang up and call us before you do anything!
