The Netherlands: working on a more inclusive society
There are too many people standing on the sidelines of Dutch society. People who want to work, but have trouble finding a job. And people with urgent or problematic debts. They lack opportunities to truly participate in society. In 2020, their position only became more vulnerable, and the gap between participants and spectators widened. But the coronavirus pandemic also raised awareness of their plight, and can therefore serve as a flywheel for creating a New Economy that is more fair and socially equitable. Fortunately, the number of impact entrepreneurs is growing. They offer solutions for these groups of vulnerable people in Dutch society, and therefore contribute to the transition to a more inclusive society.
