Create and manage your address book
- Log into Rabo Online Banking or the Rabo App
- Go to “Settings”
- Select “Payment accounts”
- Select “Address book”
- Click on “Add address”
Enter the name and account number. You can also enter a description. - Click on “Save”
Your contact will now have been added to the address book.
- Log into Rabo Online Banking or the Rabo App
- Go to “Settings”
- Select “Payment accounts”
- Select “Address book”
Using the Rabo app? Click on the 3 dots to the right of the contact - Select “Edit” to change the contact’s details
- Click on “Save”
Your contact will now have been changed.
- Log into Rabo Online Banking or the Rabo App
- Go to “Settings”
- Select “Payment accounts”
- Select “Address book”
Using the Rabo app? Click on the 3 dots to the right of the contact - Select “Delete” to delete the contact’s details
- Confirm with “Yes, delete”
Your contact will now have been deleted.
You can export your address list to create a backup. This is useful if you decide to delete your contacts.
Important: you can only import or export contacts online.
- Log into Rabo Online Banking
- Go to “Settings”
- Select “Payment accounts”
- Select “Address book”
- Click on “More” and choose “Export”
- Save the file
Your address file will now be exported and saved to your computer.
Tip! If you want to overwrite your address book with a new address file, always export your addresses first, to be on the safe side. If something goes wrong, you can always restore your addresses.
Importing contacts
If you have a new address file, or you want to upload an updated address list again, import your address list. This can be done in CSV format and works as follows:
- Log into Rabo Internet Banking.
- Go to “Settings”
- Select “Payment accounts”
- Select “Address book”
- Select “Import”
- Select the file you want to import
- Select “Import file”
Your address file will now be imported.
Note: If you delete your contacts, you cannot recover them. To be safe, first export your address list.
Important: You can only delete all contacts online.
- Log into Rabo Internet Banking or the Rabo App.
- Go to “Settings”
- Select “Payment accounts”
- Select “Address book”
- Select “More”
- Select “Delete all”
- Confirm with “Yes”
Your address book will now have been deleted.
Use the address book
To transfer money to a contact in your address book, enter part of the name or the account number. In the search results, you can see which contacts match what you have entered. Choose the correct contact and make your payment. We will automatically fill in the “name”, “account number”, and any “description” for you.
You can also click on the address book icon. Next, go to the “Accounts or Contacts” tab. Scroll down the list or type part of a name or account number into the search bar. Then choose the correct contact.
