Have you paid for something on behalf of someone else? Create a Rabo Payment Request to share a payment link or QR code and get your money back.

How to send a payment request

Click on 'Create payment request' below

Alternatively, press the 'Payment Request' button on the 'Overview' page in the Rabo App or Rabo Online Banking.

Enter the amount, number of people and description

The maximum amount you can receive is EUR 750.

Send your payment request

You can send it by WhatsApp, text message, Facebook Messenger, QR code or email. The recipient does not have to be a Rabobank customer. The payment request remains valid for two months.

Payment request based on direct debit

You can also make payment requests based on direct debits, which is very handy in situations where everyone has to pay the same amount. Click on the transaction you want to send a payment request for. The ‘Send payment request’ button is displayed at the end of the transaction. Follow the steps for sending a payment request.

View and delete a payment request

You can view all of the payment requests you have created at the bottom of the ‘Overview’ page in the Rabo App or Rabo Online Banking. Click on a payment request to view the details, share it again or delete it.

Receive confirmation of payment

To receive a push notification or email when the payment request has been paid, go to Settings > Notifications > Notifications > Payment request paid.
