How to create a piggy bank in your Rabo Savings Account
You can also choose a target amount, end date, and a different symbol

How piggy banks work
You can create up to 20 piggy banks in your savings account for different savings goals. This lets you organize the money in your savings account into separate piggy banks.
The combined balance of all your piggy banks is always equal to the balance in your savings account.
Money you have not yet assigned to a savings goal is called “Vrij Spaargeld”. For convenience, this money is kept in a separate piggy bank that is created automatically.
Transferring money to a piggy bank or between piggy banks works the same way as other transfers you make. From your account overview, you can transfer money from your payment account, savings account, or one of your piggy banks to another piggy bank.
You can also use smart transfers. For example, you can automatically transfer part of your salary to a piggy bank.
Tips!
- Automatic saving through a recurring transfer only works from your payment account to your savings account or piggy bank. It does not work from your savings account or between piggy banks.
- If you change the name of a piggy bank, you need to delete any recurring or smart transfer from your payment account to that piggy bank and set it up again.
On your savings account screen, you can see all your piggy banks and their target amounts. The green bar shows your progress toward each goal. Click on a piggy bank to view it.
