When you need to make a payment higher than your daily limit, change your limit temporarily or without selecting an end date. You can decrease your limit at any time. We recommend that you do select an end date. This prevents fraudsters from transferring large amounts from your account. When you increase your limit, it always takes 4 hours before your modified limit applies. We will send you a notification when the new limit is available.
You can decrease your limit if you are not expecting to make any large payments or if you want to decrease your limit after previously increasing it. A minimum of €0 applies. When you decrease your limit, it applies immediately and you do not have to wait.
If you set the limit to €0, you can no longer transfer any amount or make any iDEAL | Wero payments.
Why wait 4 hours?
We do everything we can to protect you from possible fraud. Scammers call you in the name of Rabobank and tell you that your money is not safe. Sometimes they even call you with a number that looks like ours. They ask you to transfer money to a safe account. Because it often involves large amounts, they also ask you to increase your limit. Do not fall for this. We never ask you to transfer money or increase your limit.
