Credit card declined
If you attempted to pay by credit card but were unsuccessful, you can usually solve the problem yourself with one of the solutions described here.
Help with credit card issues
If a credit card does not work, this is often because it has not been activated yet. Always activate a new credit card before you use it. You can do this online or at a Rabobank branch near you.
If you have forgotten your PIN and so the PIN you entered was incorrect, you can request a new PIN. If you enter the wrong PIN three times, we will temporarily block your credit card. You can then unblock your credit card yourself.
You might have reached your credit card limit if you spent more than you are allowed to on your credit card. You can change your credit card limit online. Alternatively, you can transfer money from your payment account to your credit card if you need more flexibility temporarily or just this once.
Your credit card can handle everyday use, but even one scratch can keep it from working properly. Request a new card and you will receive a working credit card within 3 to 5 business days.
Check whether the payment terminal displays the Mastercard or Visa logo. If you cannot see the logo, you might not be able to pay with a credit card at that payment terminal. In that case, you can usually pay by debit card or in cash.
