You can usually unblock your debit card yourself in the Rabo App or Rabo Online Banking. For example, if you lost your debit card and found it again, or if you entered the wrong PIN too many times

How to unblock your debit card

Did you block your debit card yourself? Or did you ask us to block it for you? Then follow these steps. You can only unblock your debit card online if you can log in without a Rabo Scanner.

  1. Click on ''Unblock your debit card'' below
  2. Move the switch to the right
    This will change ''Debit card is blocked'' to ''Debit card is active''. Your debit card is now unblocked.

In most cases, you can unblock your card yourself. First check which card you have.

What if you entered the wrong PIN in the Rabo Scanner three times?

Your debit card is blocked. Follow the steps below to unblock it.

Start at step 1 if you have a Maestro debit card.
Start at step 3 if you have a Mastercard or Visa debit card.

  1. Click on Block and unblock your debit card and log in.
    You can only log in without a Rabo Scanner.
  2. Move the switch until it turns white to block your card.
    Move the switch again until it turns green to unblock your card.
  3. Go to a Geldmaat ATM to unblock your debit card.
    You can also do this at most other ATMs in the Netherlands and Europe. More and more ATMs outside Europe also support this.
  4. Select Request balance to unblock your debit card.
  5. You can also unblock your debit card by withdrawing cash.
    Please be aware that withdrawal costs may apply.

Still know your PIN? You can use your debit card right away.
Forgotten your PIN? Request a new one.

If you cannot unblock your debit card abroad, wait until you are back in the Netherlands and use a Geldmaat ATM.
