Check and report fraud
Criminals are always coming up with new ways to find out what your personal information is so they can steal your money. This is called fraud. What if you receive a strange email, text message, WhatsApp, payment request, or Tikkie? And what if you are not sure if this is coming from us? If you haven’t opened anything or clicked on anything, you usually won’t have to do anything. Go through our questionnaire to find out what to do.
Emergency Line
Have criminals stolen large sums from your account? Or does someone have access to your account without your permission? Please contact us immediately. You can do this 24 hours a day.
Call 088 - 722 66 00
Are you not sure about a message or phone call you received, but have you not transferred any money? In that case, it’s enough to report it online.
Report fake messages
You can help us prevent fraud via emails (phishing) and scams by forwarding suspicious messages to valse-email@rabobank.nl. We prefer to receive these messages as an attachment. That’s because we need the technical information of the original message. The guide explains how to send a message as an attachment.
For text and WhatsApp messages, take a screenshot and send this to valse-email@rabobank.nl.
Money back after fraud
If you transferred money yourself because a criminal misled you, you may, in some cases, be able to obtain the recipient’s address details.
