Update the operating system of your computer or laptop often. Always install updates the device says you need and don’t put them off.
Set access codes on your computer or laptop. To make your device more secure, you need a PIN, password, fingerprint and/or facial recognition. Not all computers and laptops have these features. A password is always possible. Set the access codes that your laptop or computer recommends.
Install good anti-virus and anti-malware software on your computer and laptop. Also perform regular scans with these programs to make sure your laptop or computer doesn’t get affected by viruses.
